Additional Information on Services for Families

All services right within the nursing home

HealthDrive professionals use specialized portable technologies that allow them to provide all routine and preventative services right on-site. Your loved one who otherwise would be unable to receive off-site care due to cognitive, behavioral and physical conditions can be treated on-site.

Stringent infection control

Your HealthDrive professional follows strict infection control protocols to minimize your loved one's exposure to unnecessary infectious agents. He or she wears gloves and changes them for each treatment, sterilizes instruments between patients, and autoclave heat-sterilizes all instruments exposed to blood and bodily fluids. HealthDrive professionals have portable sterilizers. In addition, they are provided with disposable jackets, sharps containers for proper needle disposal, and disinfection solutions. Podiatrists also have available a Sani-Vac III, a specialized vacuum for minimizing nail and nail dust dispersal.

Medicare/Medicaid billing where applicable

HealthDrive's billing departments are diligent in staying informed of current Medicare and Medicaid guidelines, including regulations, documentation requirements, and allowable services. We are available to discuss any questions you have regarding eligibility, medical necessity, and bills.

Legible and complete documentation

HealthDrive custom-developed easy to read examination forms and progress notes to ensure that practically anyone can comfortably review information. All documentation was created with compliance and our patients' interest in mind. Your loved one's professionals have a random selection of their records reviewed monthly to ensure their appropriateness, completeness and legibility.

Compliance program

Under the direction of Sarah Elisabeth Curi, JD, MPH, HealthDrive's Chief Compliance Officer, the Compliance and Regulatory Affairs department is comprised of three additional individuals who devote themselves full-time to the assurance that HealthDrive fully complies with all relevant state and federal government regulations and requirements. The Compliance Department is responsible for overseeing internal record and billing audits, summarizing findings and educating affected parties, implementing any needed corrective action, responding to and resolving any issues raised related to compliance, and in assisting in the credentialing process
